Robert Morrissey shoots movement and light with the RealitySoSubtle 6x6 and 6x17 pinhole cameras.

These French made cameras are simple black boxes who's only feature are an upper and lower

pinhole that allows the ability to alter the horizon line. 

Both cameras use 120 medium format film.

​

Robert processes his own film and makes prints on a vintage Durst 609 enlarger.

Robert graduated with a B.F.A. in sculpture from Purchase College and

has had numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout he U.S. and Canada.

 

Robert's art is in many prestigious collections including those of

Allen Ginsburg, Edward Albee, and the permanent collection of the

Yale University Art Gallery.​

Robert is a furniture maker and lives with his wife Jill,

a golden retriever named Wally, two shop cats named Peaches & Woody in beautiful Livingston Montana
